It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Jennings Baird Cofer (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Jennings and C. L. Jennings; and her husbands, Jim L. Baird and Retired Captain Joseph P. Cofer. She is survived by: her caregivers, Deborah Cornett, Donna Diaz and Ronette Sloan. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Chattanooga Food Bank, Guide Dogs for the Blind of San Rafael, California, Canine Champions for Independence of Santa Rosa, California or St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
