She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Wallace. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Chamberlin and Chuck Wallace (Barbara); her stepson David Wallace (Joan); and her brother Gordon Caruthers (Ruth). She is also survived by six grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.

Carol's family would appreciate donations to Shriners Children's Hospital or the Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
