She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Rafael Castillo, MD; and her parents, Manuel Varela and Antonia Varela. She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Stangarone (Richard) and Ivonne Weidner (William Jude); her grandchildren, Thomas Stangarone (Robin), Mary Carmen Stangarone, Maria Corbet (Mateo), Anthony Weidner (Chelsea), Ivonne Stewart (Cam) and Veronica Daughertey (Nick); and her great grandchildren, Emi, Mahia Corbet, Mia, Jude Weidner, Conner, Duncan, Caelyn Stewart, Olivia, Matthew and Carmen Daughertey.
