He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl William Towers and Laura Nell Clark. He is survived by: his wife Linda Garner; his children, Scott Towers (Kristin), Ellen Adrienne Towers, Chris Garner (Nicole) and Kevin Garner (Meredith); and his grandchildren, David Michelle Pruett Jr., James Calvin Henry Pruett, Samuel Towers Pruett, Troy "Dayne" Grider, Ethan Lee Grider, Gunner Jax Towers, Christian Garner, Ethan Garner, Jake Garner, Jamie Garner and Jonah Garner.
