He is survived by: his wife Wilma Akins; his siblings, Bob Robert Glenn and Faye Ives (Rob) of Chattanooga; his sons, Gary Akins (Aimee) of Chattanooga and Curtis Akins of Chattanooga; his grandchild Erica Hall (Cory) of Chattanooga; and his great grandchildren, Cruz Hall and Finn Hall.
