He was predeceased by: his parent John Hugh; and his brothers, Gene Ridge and Jerry Ridge. He is survived by: his parent Edna Bell Griffith Ridge; his wife Carolyn Lusk Ridge; his son Denton Ridge (Suzanne Keylon); his granddaughter Grace Becktold (Thomas); his great grandchild Suzanna Becktold; his son David (Denise Saunders); his grandsons, Brian Ridge and Andrew Ridge; his son Robby Ridge (Amy Richards); his grandchildren, Thomas Ridge and Lauren Ridge; and his siblings, Nancy Rigsby, Ray, Hoyt, Lamar and Roger.
He died from Alzheimer's Disease.
