She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Dodd and Ernest Dodd; her husband Rod Welchance; her brother Ronald Dodd; her sons, Bill and Mike Howard; and her daughter-in-law Donna Sue Howard.

She is survived by: her brothers, Kenneth, Jack and Gary Dodd; her stepdaughter Wilma Mitchell; her grandsons, Billy Howard (Allison), Michael Broussard (Renee) and Roy Mitchell (Robyn); her great grandchildren, Alexandria Benson (Katherine), Jax Howard (Rebekah), Cameron Howard, Hayden, Madison, Hannah Roessel, Lily and Jade Broussard; and her nephews, Page and Hunter Dodd. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens (5351 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's Association.
