She was predeceased by: her parents, Professor "Fess" Rentz and Essie Mae Owens Rentz; her husband Reverend William Bobo; her son Lorenzo; her daughter-in-law Judith McDougle; her siblings, Mansfield Rentz, James Rentz, McKinley Rentz, Lonnie Rentz, Alfreda Rentz, Beula Parker and Lelia Johnson; and her great grandchild Jametric Facyson.
She is survived by: her daughter Vanessa Lofton; her grandchildren, Donte Jr. Lofton (Tierra), Demetrius Lofton, Nikitas McDougle and Lorenzo McDougle, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Paris McDougle, Jamarion Ellis and Alaya Lofton; her brothers, Fess Rentz (Janie) and Augusta Rentz (Annette); her godson William Clemons (Diane); and her son-in-law Donte Lofton, Sr.. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and great friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church (1734 E 3rd St, Chattanooga, TN 37404). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
