With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billie Jean Malloy Lyles of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on January 17, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Martin Lyles; her son Chuck A. Lyles; and her parents, Martha Peel Malloy and William Gillis Malloy. She is survived by: her daughters, Patty Owen (Eddie) of Opelika and Jan Bachus of Nashville; and her grandchildren, Angela Walton (Glenn), Kimberlee Metcalfe (Keith), Stephanie Lehman (Alex), Ashley Conley (Shane) and Matt Owen (Tommie).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Alzheimer's Research Foundation (alzheimer'sressearch.com/makeadonation/) or your favorite charity.
