She was predeceased by: her father Ira Lacy, Sr.. She is survived by: her mother Mary Lacy; her husband Dr. R. J. McCowan; her son-in-law Ivan Brown; her siblings, Ira Lacy (Landrese), Janice McKinney (Don) and Anita Lacy; her parents-in-law, Robert and Mattie McCowan; and her siblings-in-law, Alvin McCowan (Christina), Dr. Harold McCowan, Richard McCowan (Patricia), Perry McCowan, James Arnwine (Anna) and Beverly Campbell (Rick). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and special friends.
