Though Beverly Joan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Morris Penney, Joe Summers and Elbert Jackson; and her daughter Debbie Gregory. She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Plumer (Doug) of Gilbertsville, KY and Linda Perry of Monteagle, TN; her sisters, Bobbie Alverson of North Georgia, Sandy McDevvitt of North Georgia and Shayna Scott of North Georgia; and her stepchildren, Greg Summers of Chattanooga and Janie Buffington of Chattanooga. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren as well as nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services (7454 E Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
