With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bettye F. Watts (Chattanooga, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Watts; her parents, Will Ellis and Oneeta Ellis; and her siblings, Pete Ellis, Eloise Potter, Annie Culpepper and Pat Fahrubel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Fryar (Harry) and Nicki Winkler (Nick); her sisters, Grace Thompson and Linda Davenport; her grandchildren, Carla Card (Jim), Billy Fryar, Kevin Fryar (Missy), Nicholas Winkler and Tiffany McGinnis (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Caitlin Bailey (Josh), Maggie Card, Emily Patterson, Alayna Fryar, William Fryar, Brystal McGinnis, Ian McGinnis and Kinzie McGinnis; and her great great grandchildren, Jace Bailey and Wesson Bailey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
