She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Nell Reed and James Waldo Hawkins; her sister Dorothy Ann (Dottie); her former husband John H. Kerr; her children, Robert Allard Kerr (Carole), Barbara Ann Gould (David) and Carol Burke (Lee); her grandchildren, Kim Kerr, Robb Kerr (Autumn), Ted Dempsey (Karoline), Tara Avery (Matthew), Tonya Wilson (James) and Jennifer Mazgedian; and her husband W. A. Lindsey.
