She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelma E. Hyman Smith and James Stanley Smith. She is survived by: her husband Bill Hughes; her son Steven Wayne Smith; her siblings, Margaret A. Smith, Leon, Wayne and Jimmy Smith; her brother-in-law Paul Tinsley; her son Jason Benefield (Heather) of Old Fort; her grandchildren, Autumn of Old Fort, J. J. of Old Fort and Summer Benefield of Old Fort; and her sister Frieda Tinsley of Georgetown. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
