She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey Elson Nix; and her grandchildren, Dominique Faye Dyson and Jonathan Eric Guice. She is survived by: her children, Geraldine Mims of Monroe Township, NJ, Freda Nix, Gail Nix-Talley (Bobby), Constance Nix and Roderick Nix of Chattanooga, TN; and her brother Henry McKinney of Cleveland, OH. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
