She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Barnes and Nora Gilliam Barnes. She is survived by: her children, Axel Balow (Rebecca) and Alexis Balow; her grandsons, Caden Balow and Maxwell Balow; and her nephew Dustin Caughman.
