We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2025, at the age of 62, Barbara Kay Burns of Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Dabney, Sr.; her brother Robert A. Dabney, Jr.; her grandparents, Allen Patterson, Carlie Purkey Patterson, Robert Condy Dabney and Emma Crawford Dabney; and her brother-in-law Wayne Kiggans.
She is survived by: her husband David Burns; her grandson Shawn Burns; her mother Wanda Patterson Dabney (Boyd Wright); her sister Janet Kiggans; her nephew Derek Kiggans; her niece Shanna Wilhite (John); and her stepsister Brenda Huckaby (Carl). She is also survived by 8 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home (621 S Charles G Seivers Blvd, Clinton, TN 37716). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home Chapel (621 S Charles G Seivers Blvd, Clinton, TN 37716). A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park (1501 Bethel Valley Rd, Oak Ridge, TN 37830).
