He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Kight; his parents, Blake Kight and Emma Kight; and his siblings, Veda Roberts, Ewell Kight, Hazel Burkhalter and Annis Stiefel.
He is survived by: his sister Helen Elwell of Maine; and his daughters, Alta Peden (Terry), Brenda White (Steve) and Linda Kilgore (Sonny). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
