She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Cornelius O'Connell of Boston, Massachusetts.; her parents, John Dunlap Dickson and Sallie Jane Jones Dickson of Chattanooga; and her brothers, Jim Dickson (Marie) of Chattanooga and Jack Dickson (Jeanette) of Tullahoma.
She is survived by: her son Patrick John O'Connell (Mary) of Overland Park, Kansas; her granddaughters, Adrian Nohr (Alex) of Leawood and Katherine Parin (Neil) of Portland, Oregon; and her great grandchildren, Camille, Price and J. P. Nohr of Leawood, Kansas. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the Music Fund of Second Presbyterian Church or another charity is suggested.
