She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen B. Ware and Sims Elder; her siblings, James Elder, John Elder and Helen J. Elsberry; her husband Terry Hardy; and her grandchild Daniel Joseph Shropshire, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Manika Shropshire (Daniel) and Teleso L. Robinson (Roy); her siblings, LeBron Elder (Bernadine) and Glenda R. Williams; and her sister-in-law Sheri A. Elder. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, all of Chattanooga, TN, a host of nieces and nephews and a world of friends.
