She was predeceased by: her parents, Hezekiah Lunsford and Tiney Sue Lunsford; her husband Paul Fredrick Slayton, Sr.; her children, Timothy Slayton, Reva Joe Slayton and Emily Slayton; her daughter-in-law Sissy Slayton; and her grandson Freddy Slayton.
She is survived by: her children, Pete Slayton of Rossville, Georgia and Becky Beaty of Cleveland, Tennessee; her brother Frank Kenneth Lunsford; her grandchildren, Matthew Slayton, Jessica Slayton and Timothy Slayton; her great grandchildren, Brenna Jade Slayton, Alexis Jewel Slayton, Troy Christopher Slayton, Tyler Isaiah Slayton, Joshua Ryan McLemore, Hannah Frizzelle, Jacob Frizzelle, Isabella Dye and Samuel Dye; her nephews, Dennis Slayton, Kenny Slayton and Kenneth Slayton, Jr.; and her niece Savannah Slayton.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
