She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Posey and Lillian Lee Posey of Soddy, Tennessee.; and her siblings, Glenda Nichols and Ronald Posey. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Rudolph Hoppe; her daughter Michelle Taylor Stott (Allen); her grandchildren, Tara Stott Richmond (MeJ), Tyler Stott (Kaitlin) and Taylor Stott Vincent (Logan); her great grandchildren, Sawyer and Maggie; her brother Johnny Posey of Florida; her stepchildren, Jon, Judy, Debbie and Kathy; and her grandchildren, Lindsey, Emily and Courtney. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Chattanooga.
