He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Elliott Tipps; and his parents, Alf Tipps and Dollie Plemmons Tipps. He is survived by: his sons, Wayne (Valerie), Steve (Mary Leslie) and Mark (Joi). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
