She was predeceased by: her husband Doyle Barksdale Sr.; and her sisters, Martha Nowling and Vera Scott. She is survived by: her children, Vickie Flippen of Chattanooga and Doyle Barksdale Jr. (Comer Buck) of Atlanta; her grandson Peyton B. Flippen; and her great grandchild Jaydyn Alexander Flippen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
