He is survived by: his wife Lora Wright; his children, Derald, Stephen (Rasha), Kedrick Wright (Sara), Cynthia, Dorcas Aleah and Gretchen Wright; his brothers, John Wright and Oscar Nance; his grandchildren, Stephen Wright Jr., Camesha Tate, Carlese' Lopez (Alex), Tionna, Essynce, Jhaniah, Rebekah, Rachel, Rose, Olivia Wright and Harmonee Knox; his adoptive children, Thomas Wright (Natalie), Tanya Cochran and Ruthie Hughley; his brothers-in-law, Glenn, Lemuel (Elvira), George (Brenda), Jerome (Liz), Lowell (Sharon) and Dwight Swindle (Madeline); and his friends, Mona and Leon Dean. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
