He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Cordle and Cordelia Cordle; and his brother Delbert Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Black Cordle; and his daughters, Patricia Murphy, Brenda Burney and Melanie Wardroup. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
