She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John A., Jessie Gibbons, Ben and Nora Dell Gibson. She is survived by: her husband Bryan Cerda Ortega; her parents, Keith Gibson (Brenda Gibson) and Brenda Gibson; her parents-in-law, Silvia Ortega Loayza, Miguel Soria and Enrique Cerda Morocho; her siblings, John Keith Gibson (Melissa) and Katie Gibson Hagood (Adam); her brother-in-law Oscar Cerda Ortega (Gonzalo Soria); her nieces and nephews, Charlotte Gibson, Michael Hagood and Jesse Hagood; and her close friend Virginia. She is also survived by friends from the dog.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of her love for children and her courageous fight with cancer.
