She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John A., Jessie Gibbons, Ben and Nora Dell Gibson. She is survived by: her husband Bryan Cerda Ortega; her parents, Keith Gibson (Brenda Gibson) and Brenda Gibson; her parents-in-law, Silvia Ortega Loayza, Miguel Soria and Enrique Cerda Morocho; her siblings, John Keith Gibson (Melissa) and Katie Gibson Hagood (Adam); her brother-in-law Oscar Cerda Ortega (Gonzalo Soria); her nieces and nephews, Charlotte Gibson, Michael Hagood and Jesse Hagood; and her close friend Virginia. She is also survived by friends from the dog.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Johnson-Arrowood Funeral Home (320 Grandview St, Church Hill, TN 37642). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of her love for children and her courageous fight with cancer.
