He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Collier and Emma N. Majors Collier; and his stepson Jason Ward. He is survived by: his wife Kim Ward of Charlotte; his stepson Deandre Carter of Columbia; his siblings, Brenda Harper (Lawrence) of Charlotte, Caroline Collier of Dickson, Lamont Collier (Sarah) of Charlotte and Timothy Collier (Judy) of Charlotte; and his aunts, Willie Mae Vaughn and Mary Jane Vaughn. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
