Leathia Hazel Norris Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leathia Hazel Norris of Charlotte, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Leathia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Leathia. Though Leathia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Crawford and Martha Samples Crawford; and her brothers, Earnest William Crawford, Donald Crawford and Monroe "Bo" Ferguson.
She is survived by: her daughter Conni Heard (Dan); her grandchildren, Andrew Looney, Sarah Heard and Henry Heard (Ciarra); and her sister-in-law Sherry Crawford. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens (3076 Main St, Jasper, TN 37347).
