It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Johnny Charles Mooney of Charlotte, Tennessee, born in Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on July 16, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Mooney and Charlie Mooney; and his sisters, Eleanor Ruth and Jackie Joyce. He is survived by: his girlfriend Debra Frost of Dalton, GA; his children, Charles Mooney of Louisville, GA, Carol Yaun (Mark) of Midville, GA, Pamela Conroy (Greg) of Powder Springs, GA and Bonnie Belli of Hoover, AL.; his sister Florence Faye of Cartersville, GA.; and his grandchildren, Justin Mooney, Jessica Bailey, Jennifer Mooney, Joy Ludwig, Janet Mooney, Casey Hullander, Aaron Hullander, Sarah Barfield, Rachel Powell, Jonathan Hullander, Christine Conroy, Savanna Conroy, Evan Belli and Alex Belli. He is also survived by 12 Great-Grandchildren.

Because he was known for his kindness, it is requested in lieu of flowers that you perform a random act of kindness in his memory.
