He was predeceased by: his parents, George Scott and Marjorie Scott; his siblings, Eva, Debbie, Lynn Scott and Jesse Scott; and his son Joseph Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Ray Scott (Tina) of Charlotte, TN and Elisabeth Primm of Charlotte, TN; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Scott; his brother George Scott (SuAnn); and his grandchildren, LeAnna P. Horner (Chad), DJ Primm (Samantha), Kelli Scott, Emily Scott and Caleb Upchurch (Crista). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews.
