She was predeceased by: her parents, Vervin Thomas and Verla Catherine Duke McClelland; and her siblings, V. T. McClelland, Jr., Virginia Chandler, Herbert McClelland, Mary Ann Jones, Sarah Spruill and Linda Cammack.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Story of Charlotte, TN; and her siblings, Brenda Work (Dwight) of Dickson, Rose Baird (Bob) of Charlotte, TN, James R. McClelland of Charlotte, TN, Joel T. McClelland (Jackie) of Charlotte and William C. McClelland (Jennifer) of Jackson, TN.. She is also survived by the nieces and nephews.
