It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Brown Steele of Charlotte, Tennessee, born in Dickson, Tennessee, who passed away on June 2, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Brown and Ora Larkins Brown; her husband John D Steele; and her siblings, Robert, Hugh, Thurman, Paul Brown, Iva Pelham, Rowena Shelton and Jennie Fussell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Shusky of Charlotte, TN, Rita Brown (Scott) and Janet Torok (David Steele) of Cincinnati, OH; and her brother Marshall Derwood Brown of Tullahoma, TN. She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren: & 6 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mt. Lebanon UMC or St. Judes Children Hospital.
