It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esterlene Barnett of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, who passed away on May 22, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ellis and Alice Gower Ellis; her husband E. J. Barnett; her son Ennis Richard Barnett; her grandson Landon Ross; and her brother Don Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne White (Donnie), Mark Barnett (Paula), Jay Barnett (Baye) and Dell Ross (David); her siblings, Marjorie June Crutcher (Stanley), Evangeline Clinard, Robert Bell Ellis, Dimple Balthrop, Welbur Ellis, Joe Bailey Ellis (Jerri), Bonnie Balthrop and Jewel Ellis (Frances); and her grandchildren, Derrick White (Jana), Allison Benham (David), Matthew Akin, Alan Barnett (Jessica), Emily Gordon (Andrew), Jay Von Barnett (Monica), Megan Shepard (Josh), Jake Barnett, Preston Barnett, Rachel Barnett, Hannah Barnett, Wesley Ross (Emily) and Austin Ross (Logan Haley). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Oaklawn Free Will Baptist Church, 1280 Oaklawn Road, Chapmansboro, TN 37035.
