He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Jackson and Lamon Swindell Haines; his wife Mildred Barnes Haines; and his siblings, Pauline Duke, Colline Duke, Doris Hansen, Jackson Haines, Bill Haines, Charles Haines and Cledus Haines.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Haines (Karon), Johnny Haines, Jeff Haines and Todd Haines (Tomeka); and his siblings, James Haines (Sonya), Dennis Haines (Fran) and Janet Croney (David). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
