He was predeceased by: his parents, Daymond Cotton and Mildred Cotton Proctor (Payton); his stepfather Joe Proctor; his parents-in-law, Charles and Annie Lois Baker (Sue); and his brothers, Steve Cotton, Bobby Cotton and Mike Proctor.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Cotton (Baker); his children, Sean Thomas Cotton, Daniel Cotton (Melissa), Michael Cotton and Angela Marie Knight (Christopher); his sisters, Linda Proctor and Diane Bohannon; his sister-in-law Lori Cotton; and his granddaughter Molly Lacey (Shawn).
