He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard and Freda Van Luvender, Sr.; and his brother Ted Van Luvender. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Nash; his siblings, Richard Van Luvender, Jr. (Lorraine), Sherry Canger (Michael), Patricia Templeton (William) and Kathie Kim Sullivan (David); and his sister-in-law Kelly Manicone Van Luvender. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
