She was predeceased by: her parents, John Broadfoot and Jean Finlayson Broadfoot; and her sister Marian Hamilton. She is survived by: her husband Frederick Beard; her children, David Beard (Susan) of Pleasant View and Sara Beard of Chapmansboro; her sister Helen Lockhart of Doune, Scotland; and her granddaughter Taegen Beard.
