He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Ozena Batts Milom; and his brother Jerry Milom. He is survived by: his wife Martha Milom; his sons, Kenneth Milom (Patty) and Scott Milom (Sharon Sutton); his siblings, James Lee Milom and Evelyn Gupton; his grandchildren, Jeremy Milom, Kayla Muniz (Tyler), Amber Moyers (Marco), Skylar Threadgill, Kirsten Harvey-Milom and Stephanie Clark (Ben); and his daughters, Charlcie, Cheryl, Diane and Kathey. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
