She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bruce Newland Sr. and Nancy Cannon Newland; her daughter April Tansil; her husband Charles Randell Tansil; her daughter Chassie Combs (Greg); her brother Bruce Newland, Jr. (Elissa); and her grandchildren, Alexis Carter-Tansil, Airreannah Combs, James Combs and Saivyer Combs.
