She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett C. Woodard and Clara Casteel Woodard; her husband George "G. W." Sanders, Jr. of Washington; her son Douglas Wayne Sanders; and her brother Alton Woodard.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Stephens (Andy) of Nashville, TN, Valerie Hazelwood (Jackie), Kevin Sanders (Paula) of Thompsons Station, TN and Amy Perry of Spring Hill, TN; her grandchildren, Matthew Dillingham, Ashley Kimball, Brittany Collier, Will Hazelwood, Shelby Corbin and Skylar Sanders; her great grandchildren, Cole, Luke Kimball, Madison, Olivia, Caleb Collier, Griffin Dillingham and Jack Hazelwood; and her sisters, Alice Garrett of Huntsville, AL, Louise Massey of Petersburg, TN and Shirley Bledsoe (Tommy) of Lewisburg, TN.. She is also survived by her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
