She is survived by: her husband Thomas Gardner of Chapel Hill, TN; her children, Sheila Thorne (Gregory) of Castalian Springs, TN and Kacey Foutch (Matthew) of Greer, SC; her grandchildren, Lenore, Violet, Bergen, Holden, Walden Thorne, Seth and Bekah Foutch; and her brother James Garth Alexander of Boston, MA..
