Shirley Ann Tomlin Smithson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Tomlin Smithson of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, who passed away on September 23, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Tomlin and Louise Smithson Tomlin; her husband James E. "Cotton" Smithson; her sons, Kenny Ashworth and Dale Ashworth; and her siblings, Gayle of William, J. W., Dot, Toodlum and Grassey.
She is survived by: her children, Roy "Tadpole" Ashworth and Pam Henson; her sister Mildred "Sissy" Herndon; and her grandchildren, Nathan, Cory, Becky, Diane, Jamie, Amanda, Crissy, Kenneth, Pam, James and Angel. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
