She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Fitzgerald and Rebecca Skinner Fitzgerald; her husband Ernest Stanfill; her children, Wesley Stanfill and Patricia Hinton; her grandson Wesley "Bubba" Stanfill, Jr.; and her siblings, Jean Ethridge, Elaine McGee, Estelle Wyatt, Reba Parker and Calvin Fitzgerald.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Stanfill Reeves (James) of Chapel Hill and William Stanfill (Misty Sullivan) of Columbia; her brother Roger Fitzgerald of Columbia; and her grandchildren, Darrell Hinton (Holly), Brandy Phelps (James), Kelly Gillespie (Joey), Tres Reeves (Dana), Tara Stanfill, Robby Love, Kassey Stanfill and Christy Stapleton (Adam). She is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
