She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Wayne and Beatrice Lankford Lentz; her husband Charles Hershel Darnell; her son Jammie Darnell; and her brother Jerry Wayne Lentz.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles H. "Chuck" Darnell (Nancy) of Eagleville, TN, Joe Darnell (Jan) of Chapel Hill, TN, Jeff Darnell (Jan) of Chapel Hill, TN and Jimmy Darnell (Tasha) of Chapel Hill, TN; her daughter-in-law Julie Darnell of Murfreesboro, TN; her sister Judy Armstrong (Ray) of Shelbyville, TN; and her grandchildren, Angie Jackson (Jay), Chris Darnell (Rachel), Jeremy Darnell, Leslie Darnell, Jesse Darnell, Ashley Hedrick (Jeramey), Neyland Darnell (Anna Grace), Brooke Birdsong (Alex), Justin Darnell (Taylor), Kaitlyn Darnell and Allison Darnell. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
