He is survived by: his wife Doris H. Smith; his children, Shirley J. Claxton, Cordia Y. Smith, Tahirih F. Ogunfiditimi and Gilbert A. Smith; his grandchildren, Andre Smith, Melanie Claxton, Brandon Claxton, Gyasi Blake, Melkitsedek Ogunfiditimi, Yadidyah Ogunfiditimi and Enoch Ogunfiditimi; his great grandchild Ava Rae Smith; and his son-in-law Olatide Ogunfiditimi. He is also survived by cousins, friends and other relatives.
