He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bryant Moore and Mary Lucille Russell Moore; and his son Christopher Moore. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Hosford Moore of Chapel Hill; his sons, Michael Moore (Cheryl) of Shelbyville, TN, Jeff Moore of Woodbury, TN and Monte Moore (Lacy) of Shelbyville, TN; and his siblings, Linda Moore Vincent (Jacky) of Unionville, TN and Tim Moore (Sue) of Shelbyville, TN. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
