We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2021, at the age of 81, Herman Sparks (Chapel Hill, Tennessee), born in Irvine, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Issac Thomas and Mary Margaret Shearer Sparks; his wife Naomi Blanche Barrett Sparks; and his siblings, Marie Culton, Elsie Still, Addie Sparks, Nannie Sparks, Glendon Sparks, Earl Sparks, Sidney Sparks, John Sparks, James Sparks, William Arthur Sparks and Delbert Eugene Sparks.

He is survived by: his children, Irene Brock of Chapel Hill, TN, Debra Phelps (Eddie), Donna Golden (Tim) and David Sparks (Carrie) of Shelbyville, TN; his sister Etta Embry of Waco, KY; and his friend Jamie Karpinski of Chapel Hill, TN.. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
