He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Elmer and Thalia Olds Pugh Bivens. He is survived by: his wife Becky Bivens of Chapel Hill, TN; his children, Rebecca Bivens Wilson of Lewisburg, TN, Terri Lynn Bivens Lowe (Brett) of Christiana, TN and Michael Bivens (Jocelyn) of Lewisburg, TN; his siblings, Anneta Bivens Deal (Alan) and Thomas E. Bivens (Donna); his grandchildren, Aleah Lowe, Emily Bivens (Mason), Matthew Bivens, Lucas Bivens, Amber Bentley and Brayden Bentley; and his great grandchildren, Arya Simmerly, Archer Simmerly and Grayson Bentley. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
