He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald David Barry Sr. and Jean Griffin Barry. He is survived by: his wife Joy Barry of Chapel Hill; his sons, Nick Barry (Kelly) of Gallatin and Joe Barry (Sam Chambers) of Lebanon; his siblings, Dennis Barry (Laurie), Billy Barry (Sandy), Milly Poplar (Don), Sheryl Barbour and Jessie Eads; and his grandchildren, Austin Barry, Kelsey Barry, Katie Barry and Brody Chambers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
